Since joining my local CSA, she has found it quite humorous to harass me about being a mini farmer. All in good fun though, I’ll get her ass out there in the cow flop. This is my first vegetable share, which I am quite proud to post.

It has become routine that me and the misses cook larger meals at 11 o’clock at night. This one was especially delicious. Homemade sauce, fresh italian sausage, and a great bowl of fresh greens-that’s damn right.

Well, maybe not. But having this, fresh from the oven, homemade cherry pie sitting out when I get home from the gym, is just cruel. Last year it would have been no problem, I would have eaten half of it, and thought nothing of it. But this year I am doing my best to limit my sugar intake to 75 grams a day, and that is no easy feat. Especially when this glorious bastard is staring me in the face.

What a score last night at the ol’ Wal-Mart! I have not seen this skateboard design since I owned the original in 1989. It was my first skateboard, and I deeply regret breaking it out of frustration years ago. It’s a far cry from having the original, but damn if it doesn’t bring a smile to my face.
